The objective of this project is two-fold. The first part is enabling a group of individuals to take a library of music and apply a strict organizational system to it. In doing so, they can efficiently eliminate most duplication and inaccurate tagging issues.

The second part is to then allow them to easily create playlists in this system that will be identifiable as having been created by a given user. Since all of this information will be stored in a database, a myriad of analyses can be performed. Users can learn all sorts of things about their fellow users in this way.

The Playlists, in effect, become a form of expression between the users of the system.

This program was written in Java and uses a MySQL back end.
