I overheard someone pronounce the word coupon as” Q-pon” rather than “Koo-pon”. What’s up with those people? How do they pronounce Coup?

Just saw this video on VH1 Classic. Oddly mesmerizing. More big name cameos than I can count, really, but it’s done pretty tastefully. Plus, of course, they’ve got Rick Rubin in there at the end.
