appealing industries

Actually, perhaps I will take a stab at writing about my life here for a change. Well, last night I exported a final version of The Kiss to a big MS DV AVI file. I actually made two versions, one without the opening and closing music. If for some reason I ever get the rights to the story, I can just plug in different music and voila! I have the rights free and clear to the whole thing. I spent the bulk of my evening backing up the raw footage files to blank DVDs. Eleven discs in all, almost 50 GB of data. It is important to me to keep the source files in tact because if I ever want I can go back and change something, the Premiere project will still work.

I’m having a hell of a time burning the DVDs to be toted around and shown. I’ve already made 4 coasters trying. I hate MyDVD. It’s quick but sometimes flaky. I need real DVD authoring software. For the 2004 sampler at the very least.

Something is still wrong with my computer, and I am slowly starting to come to terms with the fact that maybe it is the sound card. the AVI card says so. I should have figured this out a long time ago, before I replaced my motherboard and video card.

I also got a good grasp on how to engineer my halloween costume. You’ve got to love cable ties.

This is a page that I looked at today.
